Ian was so many things: a caring friend, a loving partner, a Super Dad, an accomplished musician, and the nicest fellow one could hope to work beside. It was Ian’s cheery whistle, his jaunty cap, his ready smile, and those tie dyed shirts and mismatched socks that stole our hearts while we had him with us. But it was his compassion, sense of humour, inclusive nature and gentle spirit that forged the lasting bond so many of us feel, holding him as a friend as well as a colleague. He became a well-loved and much appreciated member of an exceptional team of people.

These attributes helped him attain a high level of competence in a complex role, and to flourish in his work. Ian brought to Seasons an innate talent for bookkeeping and pride in the work that he did, but his biggest gift to us was his natural ability to collaborate and welcome all people into his own “sphere”.
